About Us

For almost 30 years Total Care Health Industries, Inc. has been providing home medical equipment, incontinence products, medical supplies and specialty rehabilitation equipment in the Metropolitan New York area. In 1999 we launched this e-commerce web site with the intention of better serving our community. We believed that it would allow relatives in other areas to arrange for equipment and supplies to be provided for their loved ones by a local, experienced company. Interestingly, we found that our products and our service are needed well outside our geographical community. We currently serve the entire country. Our clients include individuals, hospitals, clinics, residences, doctors, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and schools.

We are not an internet business. We maintain a real building with real employees who understand the business and the people as well as the products. Because we are accustomed to delivering ourselves, we track every order we ship and we follow up to make sure you receive it. Many web providers are interested in turnkey, low involvement sales. We don't see it that way. Our web site is an extension of our high involvement, hands on business and reputation.

We carry everything from wheelchairs and walkers, commodes and bath chairs, to medical nutritionals, thickened liquids and incontinence products. Everyday we receive e-mails and telephone calls with questions about products that are not on our web site. We pride ourselves on answering each one and being able to get people what they need or get them to someone who can get them what they need.

We have been involved in providing specialty rehabilitation, adaptive equipment and assistive technology since our inception. In the Metro New York area we work with many institutions, as well as home therapists, physicians and early intervention agencies to provide the most appropriate equipment for children and adults.
